Four women share their success and how they learned from failures doing the early years of owning a business at two sessions of "Business Legends Tell All: Learn from the School of Hard Knocks" taking place March 15 and March 22 between 4 - 5:30 p.m. at Facere Jewelry Art Gallery.
The speakers include Alice Cunningham - Olympic Hot Tub Company - www.olympichottub.com, Jane Hummer - Mangetout Catering - www.magetout.com, Lezlie Jane - sculptor, landlord, investor, and Karen Lorene - Facere Jewelry Art Gallery - www.facerejewelryart.com. Learn how they obtained financing, advertised, hired employees, paid the rent, and grew their businesses into long standing Northwest institutions. This class is part of Business Skills for Artists at Edmonds Community College under the "Arts Now" curriculum.
