Seattle Human Society’s MaxMobile is Coming to the Seattle Olympic Hot Tub Company Parking Lot
April 12 & 19, Making It Easy to Adopt a Pet
(Seattle, WA – March 19, 2008) – Olympic Hot Tub Company has spent the last 31 years making it easy for others to take it easy in their own backyards. On April 12 and 19 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., the parking lot adjacent to the Seattle Olympic Hot Tub Company showroom will make it easy for neighbors to adopt a pet and bring new life to the backyard.
The Seattle Humane Society’s new MaxMobile will make two stops at the generous parking lot next to Olympic Hot Tub Company’s Seattle location at 1425 Dexter Avenue North to make pet adoption convenient and easy for pet lovers in the Puget Sound region, while providing tours of the MaxMobile. The MaxMobile is a bright yellow, 33-foot, custom-built mobile adoption and education center. “Max” is loaded with loving dogs, cats, and even a few rabbits, ready for on-the-spot adoption.
Alice Cunningham, Olympic Hot Tub Company co-owner, said, “Making it easy for people to connect with the perfect pet is something we are happy to do.” Olympic Hot Tub Company hosted the MaxMobile at its Issaquah showrooms during the winter holidays. Everyone really seemed to enjoy touring the facility and meeting some of the orphaned pets in need of good homes,” Cunningham said.
“At the Seattle Humane Society we are committed to finding a home for every loving animal that comes through our doors,” says Brenda Barnette, Seattle Humane Society’s CEO. “With the MaxMobile, we’re able to bring our wonderful pets to the community. We hope area residents will join us for these fun, family-friendly events.”
Visitors are encouraged to bring dry or canned cat or dog food to donate to the Seattle Humane Society’s Pet Food Bank. This food will help thousands of families in King County keep their pets fed when money is tight. Last year, the Holiday Pet Food Drive raised more than 16 tons of food.
