Homes Get Sweet as Stocks Go Sour

Alice Cunningham, co-owner of Olympic Hot Tub, reported to The Seattle Times that "many customers are taking advantage of low interest rates to refinance their homes, and one of their top priorities is adding a hot tub." The Times went on to report that an Olympic Hot Tub Company customer actually promised his wife that they would go to the Caribbean for their five-year anniversary. But they were just too busy to go, so he bought her a hot tub as a surprise.
