Our Olympic Family Stories
I spent 3 mornings in the "Mermaid Lagoon" with my granddaughter Emma the last few sunny mornings.
"Grandma Jackie, can we go play in the hot tub"
That's the first thing she said to me Saturday morning.
We're mermaids a lot. Sometimes she's my trusty water spaniel but this weekend - our Olympic Hot Tub was the Mermaid Lagoon.
I got to be her mother, her teacher, her best friend and the one she always saved. It's like this - She is always Ariel. I am always Flounder.
I'm so glad we have our hot tub. Emma and I have the best time in it.
